Corey is a fractional HR Executive, consultant, facilitator, coach, and strategic advisor. He is a 5-time Head of HR and leadership team member. He brings over 15 years of experience evolving HR functions, leading culture transformation mandates, developing leadership capacity, building engaged, healthy cultures, and contributing to organizational effectiveness. Corey’s areas of focus: HR Strategy, Leadership Assessment & Development, Succession Planning, Executive Team Development, Onboarding, Culture Transformation, and Total Rewards. Corey has worked with clients in a variety of industries including technology, scale ups, engineering, financial services, not-for-profit, professional services, automotive, retail, and fintech. Corey has held executive roles with Kahi, Bridgit, Orangutech, Monkedia, and leadership roles at Shopify. WSP, and GALE Partners. Corey has contributed as a speaker and writer on the topics of leadership, culture, and performance management. Corey holds a Masters degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Waterloo and an Honours Degree in Psychology from York University. He completed an HR Executives accelerator program led by the great Lars Schmidt. He has a certificate of Adult Learning and Development from the University of Toronto. Corey is a certified Executive Coach as per the Certified Coaches Federation.
